Fall 2017 inaugural Law Edition issue

St. Mary’s University’s Gold & Blue alumni magazine is produced three times a year. Gold & Blue: Law Edition flipbook magazines are published twice a year.
As Art Director for both magazines, I oversaw all aspects of the creative process, while also delegating tasks to our Junior Designer. Together, we hired photographers, directed photoshoots, designed layouts, revised during an extensive review process, pre-pressed for print, and press-checked.
I took the lead on redesigning the publication for the Fall 2018 issue. This redesign helped us streamline the design process and create a clean, cohesive publication. The overall style of the magazine is now more in-line with the rest of St. Mary’s marketing materials. It was also imperative that we make our design process more efficient to better manage the ever-growing workload and balance magazine assignments with other University projects.
